The fire that started early this afternoon in a forest area in Ovar, district of Aveiro, has been dominated since about 3:20 p.m., told Lusa source of Civil Protection.

Dand according to the Sub-Regional Command of the Region of Aveiro Civil Protection, the fire did not cause victims or affected houses.
The fire came to plow near the old Dolce Vita mall, but the firemen managed to prevent the flames from moving in that direction.
On the ground they continue, according to the civil protection site, 88 operatives, 25 vehicles and two air means.
The alert for this fire was issued around 1:10 p.m.
