O The boy we see in the picture is Bruno Correia, singer, winner of TVI’s “Rising Star”, and element of the musical project VINYL Band.
It was through his social networks that the musician decided to go back in time and tell part of his emotional life story.
Bruno Correia began by showing a picture of how young he was, thus revealing a childhood marked by traumatic episodes.
“He was a very insecure child. I’ve always suffered from bullying,” he started by describing.
“In school compositions, about professions, I always wrote: I want to be a singer. I was living with the Song Festival. I loved singing! I started talking when I was five. The doctors thought I was deaf. Later they said it was slang, spoiled… But even so small, I knew I didn’t belong in this world.“, continued.
The winner of the “Rising Star” talent contest revealed to have been targeted in childhood for “beat and humiliate each week”. Still, “I laughed and sang at school. He was happy, even often being empty.”
” My parents work hard to dress, feed, buy school supplies from eight children. They helped neighbors, family. And when they needed it, they had nothing left. Despite this, I miss this child,” he added, thus assuming the difficulties the family has experienced.
At the age of eight, Bruno Correia dreamed of being part of the band Onda Choc and the dream was realized. “My greatest dream come true. Little did I know what hell would be my life at school. But I resisted, God only knows how,” he said, referring to alleged aggressions and humiliations that intensified at the time.
Finally, Bruno Correia explained having made this revealing publication because he considered himself an artist “of the people” with nothing to hide.
” Social media shows only good life, luxury life, travel. I don’t have it, not alive. I’ll always be this. Transparent. Many will make trouble, others will see me again. And for me an artist or public figure, whatever they want to call, must be an example and must teach goodness “, finished.
