The 23-year-old player arrives in Coimbra from Egnatia, Albania, in which he added 14 official matches and a goal, after having represented Tondela in the first half of the season, with nine games in the I League.
Born in Braga, Afonso Rodrigues trained at Famalicão and Sporting Braga, debuting at the II Liga in 2023/24 at the service of Paços de Ferreira.
In the last period, he lived the first international experience in the service of Egnatia, conquering the League of Albania.
