The public schools in the Azores are open today and on Sunday to allow students to consult their national secondary school examinations, the Regional Government announced.

Na press release released at the beginning of the afternoon, the Regional Secretariat of Education, Culture and Sport said that the schools are open today until 17h (18h in Lisbon), the same happening on Sunday, between 9h and 12h (10h and 13h in Lisbon) and 14h and 17h (15h and 18h in Lisbon).
One of the largest secondary schools in the Azores – Domingos Rebelo – in Ponta Delgada, on the island of São Miguel, today informed those in charge of education that it already had access to the platform and that it would start sending for consultation.
“For students whose grades appear as ‘suspended’ in the staff, there will not yet be classification by items, but will also receive the digitized proof”, advanced the school, admitting that the process “will be gradual and will take some time to complete”, due to the volume of more than 1,000 tests to be sent by e-mail.
For the first time this year, the national secondary school examinations carried out by 166 thousand students have been corrected in digital format, but the process has experienced technical failures since the beginning, forcing the Ministry of Education to postpone the original deadlines.
In statements to Lusa, the president of the National Association of Directors of Groups and Public Schools said today that the schools are receiving new files today with the student exams that on Friday had their rank suspended.
Filinto Lima estimated that it was “thousands” students who saw their classification of national exams with the reference “suspenduous”, hoping that the guidelines to solve this situation will still arrive in schools today.
