Alex Warren debuts in Portugal with concert at Figueira da Foz

Cconsidered a global pop music phenomenon, the American Alex Warren debuts in Portugal on July 18, at Figueira da Foz beach, in the second edition of the Portugal Summer Sessions, announced today the organization.

At the age of 26, California's natural singer and songwriter arrives in Portugal driven by the success of his debut album, "You'll Be Allight, Kid", from 2024 – which reached the top 5 on the "Billboard" 200 album list.

The long duration includes the “Ordinary” hit, a theme that ranked number one on the Billboard Hot 100 for 10 weeks, remaining over 80 weeks on the Spotify Top 200 in Portugal, a platform where Alex Warren accumulates over 45 million monthly listeners.

Cited in a note sent to the agency Lusa, Tiago Castelo Branco, Executive Director of MOT – Memories of Tomorrow (the producer responsible for the Portugal Summer Sessions, in partnership with Live Nation), highlighted the importance of this type of events, both for the coastal city of Coimbra district, and for the surrounding region.

Alex Warren’s concert in Portugal on the beach of Figueira da Foz, with the Atlantic Ocean in its background, is part of the European stage of its world tour “Finding (More) Family On The Road” and is held after a series of shows “on large outdoor stages” already scheduled for June and July 2027 in Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Ireland, United Kingdom, Germany, France and Switzerland, in cities such as Dublin, London, Stuttgart and Paris, among others.

According to MOT, the concert by the American singer, on the last day of the Portugal Summer Sessions, “will continue the strategy of attracting major international tours out of the traditional metropolitan axes, started in the first edition”, last July, with the shows of Sting and Lewis Capaldi.
