Athe main European grants opened today on high, benefiting from the fall of oil after US President Donald Trump said he will not attack Iran before the November 3rd elections in the US.
At 09.05 in Lisbon, the EuroStoxx 600 rose 0.88% to 630.99 points.
The scholarships from London, Paris and Frankfurt advanced 0.81%, 0.80% and 0.91%, while those from Madrid and Milan rose 0.97% and 0.88%, respectively.
The Lisbon grant maintained the opening trend, with the main index, PSI, to advance 0.21% to 9,366.79 points.
The euro was high against the dollar, above $1.12 and was worth 0.17% to $1.1230 on the Frankfurt exchange market, after the minimums of this week of 1.116, the lowest level since May 2025 due to the strength of the dollar and the French fiscal uncertainty.
Markets today reacted to the fall in interest on sovereign debt and oil prices.
The price of the reference generic Brent barrel contract in Europe drops 1.11% to $103.12 and the reference West Texas Intermediate barrel (WTI) in the United States of America (USA), also drops 0.79% to $90.77.
Similarly, the price of the active contract for natural gas on the Dutch TFF market, a reference in Europe, yields 0.52% to EUR 78.44 per megawatt hour (MWh).
The price of gold acts as an asset of refuge and rises 1.40% to 4.190.32 dollars per ounce, as well as silver, which advances 2.09% to 60.4039 dollars.
Germany's 10-year bond interest, considered the safest in Europe, fell to 3.462%, as against 3.492%, as well as from France to 4.835%, as against 4.893%.
To the contrary, the interest on the debt of the United States of America to 10 years was increasing to 5.243 percent, compared with 5.228 percent on Thursday.
In Asia, the scholarships closed slightly, the Tokyo Nikkei rising 0.02%, the Shanghai Stock Exchange 0.05%, Shenzhen's 0.17%, and Hong Kong Hang Seng advanced 1.53% shortly before the end of the session.
The futures of the U.S. indices show 0.12% progress for Dow Jones and 0.86% for the Nasdaq technology, after finishing on Thursday on high.
Today in the US stands out the October preliminary reading of the consumer sentiment index, which is expected to continue to deteriorate due to inflation and the recent increase in driving rates, and the results of the third quarter of Delta Air Lines.
In the cryptocurrency market, bitcoin rises 0.87% to $82,460.
