Uthe couple who became ill, before a friend's marriage, and could not attend, was surprised by an unexpected attitude of the bride and groom.
According to Huffington Post, the couple had confirmed their presence at the ceremony, but days before they got sick and had to cancel their departure.
Days later, these received an unexpected call. It was the bride who demanded payment of around EUR 230 to cover the cost they had had with the reservation of their seats.
According to the couple, who shared the situation in Redddit, they had warned the bride and groom of their absence three days in advance, because they were sick and did not want to risk infecting other people.
“ It seems to me crazy to pay 260 dollars [230 euros] especially in the state where the economy is”, complains one of the targets.
The story has been commented on by many who consider the attitude of the bride and groom inappropriate. The same serves to reflect how a marriage today is synonymous with a list of expenses, for guests who go from the present, to travel, clothes and now... to payment in case they don't show up.
