O north Sea crude, a reference in Europe, closed the session at Intercontinental Exchange to quote 26 cents over the 100.32 dollars with which it ended the transactions on Monday.
Brent maintained the fluctuation around $100 per barrel, although during the session he evolved into $97.
On the eve, it dropped almost two percent due to increased supply from the Middle East, particularly Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, which recovered the usual export volumes.
In any case, the operators' expectations are divided between the anticipation of an increase in supply, after the G7 decided on Friday to release 100 million barrels of oil and diesel in a coordinated manner, and the threat of disruptions in the flows due to geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.
