ANDthis evolution was supported by the internal market, which increased 7.1%, with almost all sectors presenting an improvement compared to the previous year.

In exporting companies, turnover fell by 2.4% after an increase of 1.6% in 2024, “a fall particularly influenced by the performance of larger companies”, according to the analysis.
The number of exporting companies in 2025 also decreased by around 2% compared to the previous year.
According to Informa D&B, the performance of the business fabric in 2025 “shows a more robust growth path, followed by increases of 2.5% and 3.9%, respectively in 2023 and 2024”.
The study focused on public and private companies (except banking and insurance), with financial information published on the Ministry of Justice (IES) portal for 2025.
