Two years after its release, Alfa Romeo Junior is renewed. The update now announced is essentially cosmetic, covering the exterior and interior of the SUV of segment B.

O Alfa Romeo Junior is “clean-faced”Two years after the premiere. This is the SUV of segment B of the Italian brand belonging to the Stellantis group. The car has four levels of equipment (Junior, Ti, Sprint and Veloce) and the special edition Edizione Luna Rossa.

 

Engines

At engine level, the updated Alfa Romeo Junior proposes the hybrids 145 hp 1.2 liters Ibrida and 145 hp 1.2 liters Q4 Ibride with integral traction, in addition to the 100% electric 156 cv Elletrica – all available for Junior, Sprint and Ti levels and for Edizione Luna Rossa. Already the Veloce proposes an electric motor of 280 cv.

Junior's range proposes driving aids, with serial systems from the Sprint level as cruise control adaptive, rear camera, front parking sensors, rear and lateral and dead angle monitoring. The occupants can charge their smartphones to a wireless charger.

What changes?

In this update, it is highlighted in particular the passenger compartment, with “superior perceived quality” and more customization possibilities. There are new door panels, which adopt a more sophisticated design with contrasting seams and soft coating to the touch. The seats are another novelty, with materials, visual appearance and new finish in the dashboard and central console. Junior and Sprint have the Icona interior: Premium black fabric seats with contrasting grey seams and Alfa Romeo logo on the headrest. Door panels, such as the dashboard and central console, appear with Scuba coating in black.

The range continues with Ti and Veloce levels, which propose the new Carbon interior series – black seats Premium Scuba and premium electrosoldier fabric with red details and red touches. The dashboard, the central console and also the door panels appear with a new Microcloud material and contrasting red seams. Optionally, it is possible to choose the interior in Black Alcantara with Sabelt bacquet-type seats, with details in red and coating in Alcantara exclusive for door panels, dashboard and arm support.

At Level Ti, the body kit is proposed in bright black, logo It keeps us fenders, as well as for indoor lighting and for the new Premium Carbon interior. Here, we find heated front seats (the driver's is electrically adjustable in six ways, with electrical adjustment of lumbar support and massage function).

Top of the range is the Alfa Romeo Junior Electric speed with 280 hp power, which proposes 20 inch rims, bi-tone paint with black body kit mate Diabolik Black and black roof as well as details in red Rosso Brera. There are red brake clamps (the sports braking system has the signature of Alcon) and the suspension is 25 mm lower. Finds self-blogging differential Torsan and stabilizer bars with dedicated calibration.

Alfa Romeo Junior Luna Rossa

Result of collaboration with the Luna Rossa sailing team, the Edizione Luna Rossa it proposes exclusive seats in black Scuba and 3D grey premium Knit fabric, with Luna Rossa logos applied to headrests of front seats. The central console and the dashboard have their own visual elements.

The exterior decoration is dedicated as well as the black Gloss Black rims with diamond cut, the Badge Progress in Gloss Black and the manufacturer's emblems in red.

Customization

For customers who want a more unique car, Alfa Romeo offers Junior diverse options – like new 19-inch rims with a four-hole design, diamond cut and matte paint, whose diameter is larger and the floor width increases ten millimeters. Thus, the available characteristics are highlighted.

On the other hand, there are new three-hole rims measuring 18 inches with a gray paint. In all, there are seven rim designs with sizes from 17 to 20 inches. The colors are also seven, with the grey Edizione Luna Rossa Grey reserved for the same edition.

Alfa Romeo already has name for concept car that reveals in October

In October, Alfa Romeo will reveal a new concept car at the Paris Motor Show. Little is known about this model, but now it has been announced that it is called Cuorerosso (in Portuguese, it could translate into “red heart”).
