Com scheduled release for October 23 and already available in pre-sale, the iPhone Duo is (of course) to be the great reason for conversation among Apple fans – especially because it is the first foldable mobile phone of the Apple Company.
However, there are other reasons to be aware of Cupertino's technology during this month of October since, as Bloomberg's journalist Mark Gurman says, Apple has more products to present in the coming days.
Gurman states that Apple intends to make changes to its online store between November 5th and 6th, which is a strong indicator that the company plans to actually introduce new products by the end of October.
Remember that earlier rumors circulated that Apple was planning to perform a presentation on October 27. Allegedly, this occasion will serve to reveal new models of MacBook Pro and iMac with M6 processor, an iPad mini with OLED screen and also a new MacBook laptop equipped with touch screen.
It is worth remembering that earlier this month, Apple unveiled new column models HomePod mini and Apple TV 4K, beyond HomeView which was the great novelty introduced by the company in its product catalogue.
It is important to stress, however, that Apple has not officially announced its intention to make a new presentation during this month. We will have to wait for the company to make news on this.
You'll have to wait for 2027 to buy the iPhone Duo
Apple's first folding phone, the iPhone Duo, officially entered the pre-sale period on Friday, October 16. The first to order the device can start using it on the release date, scheduled for October 23rd. However, everyone else will have to wait a little longer.
This is because, as Apple's online store in Portugal indicates, those interested in purchasing the iPhone Duo are currently having a delivery forecast only for early 2027 – more precisely for January 22nd.
It is worth remembering that the iPhone Duo was announced in September such as iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. These top-of-the-line models have already been launched on the market, with the release of this foldable to have been pointed towards the end of October.
It is also important to remember that before the pre-sale period of iPhone Duo began, Apple decided to increase the production goals of the foldable. Instead of the 6 to 7 million that would be produced by the end of 2026, 10 million units will now be produced.
The decision will have been taken after Apple has verified a consumer interest above expectations and, given the waiting period for iPhone Duo, the membership of those interested in buying the fold seems to have proven that the strategy was the right one.
Remember that iPhone Duo will be available in a 256GB base version for the price of EUR 2,399. The foldable will also be available in 512GB versions for 2,649 euros, 1TB for 3,149 euros and 2TB for 3,899 euros.
The delivery forecast for new orders from iPhone Duo seems to be across all these storage settings. This means that regardless of the configuration you choose for your iPhone Duo, you will still have to wait until the beginning of 2027 to start using your phone.
Of course, this information is not enough to be sure about the success that iPhone Duo will have. However, the fact that sufficient purchases have been made so that new foldable orders are not satisfied until 2027 is a good indicator that the membership of iPhone Duo may be to Apple's liking.
