Flavio Bolsonaro, from the Liberal Party (PL), said that Brother Eduardo will not be Brazil's foreign minister and that "is not on the radar" to appoint his father for positions, if he wins the presidential of October 25.

The statement took place on Friday night during a question session on TV Globo, when he again stated that if he is elected, he will support a change in the Brazilian Constitution to end re-election and that he will not make changes so that family members succeed him in office.

The eldest son of former President Jair Bolsonaro also assumed that if the change for the end of re-election is not made by the Brazilian Congress, he will not be a candidate for re-election in the general elections of 2030.

“This is to show that I have no detachment from power. I don't have a power project. I'm 45 years old, I'm a lawyer, I'm an entrepreneur, I have a graduate degree in public policy and government, I have MBA in entrepreneurship and new business. I am more than prepared to be president of the Republic and, for me, it is God’s project”, he noted.

Flávio Bolsonaro said that there are no shortage of names on the right for a “project of Nation and not projects of power” and, when questioned, committed to respect the decisions of the polls in a possible defeat for Lula da Silva.

About the controversy involving the funding of the film “Dark Horse”, an autobiography by former President Jair Bolsonaro, starring actor Jim Caviezel, Flávio again reaffirmed that he did not see any problems asking for money from Daniel Vorcaro, the hub of the Master Bank scandal, arrested for financial fraud.

Flavio Bolsonaro said again that his father “was arrested for a farce” and that “there are several vices in the process” that sentenced him to more than 27 years in prison for attempted coup.

A judge of the Supreme Court, Kassio Nunes Marques, appointed to office by Jair Bolsonaro, declared, after the result of the second round, in which Flávio was ahead of Lula with 2.2 million votes, which will reassess the request for review of the former president's sentence.

Faced with the risk of Jair Bolsonaro being released in a possible victory, Flávio signaled, when questioned in the interview, that he will have his father as a consultant.

“Bolsonaro never took office with me. He never suggested that he would like to work in the government,” he said.

“ I have the privilege of, when I need to consult with an ex-President of the Republic, I have inside the house a reliable one. I'm privileged. Never dealt with position with me ", answered how asked about the theme.

The statement contradicts a May statement by the current senator, who said at the time that if the father wanted to “exercise some office” in his eventual government would have this possibility. “It is obvious that he will exercise, yes”, he defended.

Flavio also said that Brother Eduardo Bolsonaro, a fugitive from Justice and currently living in the United States, will not be Foreign Minister in his eventual government, although his brother, in recent statements, has implied being the next foreign minister.

“No. He won't be my chancellor. Eduardo is a political persecutor who is out there denouncing the arbitrariness that exists here in Brazil. Someday, history will still recognize him as someone who sacrificed himself to defend democracy in our country,” he said.

Asked about the participation of the Armed Forces in the possible government, since the father raised several officers for ministries and had as military allies of the same ideological line, Flavio said it will be different.

The candidate of the PL said that in a government of its own the Armed Forces will be responsible only to care for the borders of Brazil, and will fight the criminal factions, after saying that he will “declare war” to the First Command of the Capital (PCC) and the Red Command (CV).

In alignment with the United States, he again promised to classify PCC and CV as narco-terrorist organizations.

Flávio Bolsonaro’s interview generated a wave of protests across the country, after the left calling people to hit pots, popularly called “pannel”, during the television program.

On Thursday, TV Globo interviewed Lula da Silva for 40 minutes, when he defended the reduction of the age of criminal responsibility for heinous crimes to 16 years.

Next Sunday, Lula and Flávio Bolsonaro will face a direct clash, for the first time in these elections, when a presidential debate by TV Band takes place.

End of scale 6×1: What changes for Brazilian workers?

The Brazilian National Congress approved the PEC that reduces the weekly working day without reducing wages, in a ceremony with the presence of President Lula da Silva. The measure, which guarantees two days of paid rest per week, was celebrated by the president as a conquest for the workers.
