Lauren Freires, a 20-year-old Brazilian girl who lived in Portugal for about eight months and currently lived with her girlfriend and in-laws in Oliveira de Frades, Viseu district, was found dead on the morning of Tuesday, October 13, in the room where she slept.
The girlfriend's version is that Lauren committed suicide and the preliminary investigation of the Republican National Guard (GNR) found no evidence of crime.
However, to the Brazilian newspaper R7Lauren's family contested this narrative and said they suspected murder. He even presented evidence that the relationship between the couple was troubled.
Today the Morning Mail reveals that the Judiciary Police (PJ) will investigate the case, by decision of the prosecutor (MP).
