Chico da Tina takes “Super Arraial” to Lisbon in April 2027

O musician Chico da Tina will present, in April at MEO Arena, in Lisbon, a “spectacle of varieties on scale XXL”, which promises to turn the largest showroom in the country into a pilgrimage, was announced today.

“The population is officially warned: on April 16, 2027, MEO Arena temporarily changes its parish. Minho will settle in the largest showroom in the country for a concentration of proportions never seen before: the Super Arraial de Chico da Tina ", says the promoter of the show, in a statement released today.

The Super Arraial, “a show of varieties on XXL scale”, will include “music, concertina, dance, special guests, surprises, fan awards and lots of animation”.

According to the prosecutor, the show will transform the MEO Arena “in a true pilgrimage, where popular culture meets the unexpected and nobody knows very well what comes next, but everyone will want to be present”.

Viana do Castelo’s musician promises a “bringing party, with the concertina running into hip-hop, trap and popular music”. “The turn meets with new sounds; humor, irreverence and unpredictability do the rest”, reads in the statement.

The show has as pretext a new album, “I am great in Love”, which is also the title of the first single, which Chico da Tina has been revealing over the last few months.

From the new album, whose editing date has not yet been announced, the songs “Pants”, “I’m an archaeologist”, “Vice” and “Pick or Wide” have also been released, as well as “I am great in love”.

Tickets for the concert, whose first-stage price ranges from EUR 20 to 40, are already on sale.

Chico da Tina, whose songs add millions of auditions on digital platforms, edited the debut album, “Minho Trapstar”, in 2019.

The compilation followed “And now as it is”, in 2021, and the “Tina Dance Mixtape”, in 2021. The discography of the minhoto musician also includes two EPs, “Crapped”, 2019, and “Playboy Matos”, 2024, tribute to the singer Tony de Matos.
