A Estrada Nacional (EN) 17 is cut off in the area of Póvoa das Quartas, in the municipality of Oliveira do Hospital, due to a road crash that caused four injured, two of which are still being debarred, said civil protection.
“ This is a collision between a light passenger and a light freight, which resulted in four injuries and forced the closure of EN17 to allow the work of the operators ", it was the source of the Subregional Emergency and Civil Protection Command of the Coimbra Region to the Lusa agency.
According to the same source, two injured, considered light, have already been referred to the hospital.
“ We still do not know what the situation of the other two wounded is because the maneuvers of decarceration continue”, he added.
The alert for the accident was given at 8:36 a.m., and 30 operations of the firefighters of Oliveira do Hospital, GNR and INEM were mobilized, supported by 09 vehicles.
To the site were also two ambulances SIV (Immediate Support of Life) of Seia, Guard district, and Arganil, Coimbra district.
