Dafter all the controversy involving the Comedia humor festival to La Carte Fest, with several artists canceling their participation due to the political ideals of the poster head, Jerry Seinfeld, here the organization announced new confirmations this Wednesday. 

 

One of the names that disappeared from the poster was that of Matilde Breyner who eventually reacted and gave an explanation to fans on social networks. 

“ After today's new poster for Meo Commedia a La Carte Fest has been revealed, I want to clarify what will happen to my show. “I DIDN’T WANT TO SAY” will not be part of this festival, but it will open on another date, to be announced soon”, he began to clarify.

“ To all the people who had already bought a ticket, my thanks. They shall be contacted directly with all information concerning their reimbursements. See you soon”, he said.

Also names like Inês Aires Pereira, Onion Mol, Pedro Torchas, Carolina Deslandes, Barbara Tinoco and Tatanka they canceled the scheduled shows, unlike Sweeter Popcorn and David Cristina.

The new poster includes names such as Jim Gaffigan, George Wallace and Tom Papa, Jerry Seinfeld’s “best friends”. 

It is recalled that all this controversy began with the fact that Jerry Seinfeld publicly demonstrated his support for Israel from the beginning of the most recent phase of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. 

The humorist acts on November 1 at MEO Arena.

Ricardo Araújo Pereira stated that he would not cancel his participation in the Commedia to La Carte Fest, despite Jerry Seinfeld's support for Israel, and argued that participating in the same event does not mean subscribing to the opinions of the other participants.
