The body of a woman “between the ages of 60 and 65” was today taken from the river Minho, in Monção, district of Viana do Castelo, not knowing, for now the causes of death, Lusa told the captain of the port of Caminha.

Dand according to Ferraz Fernandes, who is also commander of the Caminha Maritime Police, the body was found floating in the river “about 500 meters downstream of the baths” of Monção.
According to the “site” of the National Emergency and Civil Protection Authority, the alert was given at 3:13 p.m.
On site were the Monção Volunteer Firefighters, the Valença Volunteer Firefighters, the INEM, the Maritime Authority and the Judicial Police.
