A EDP concluded today the negotiation of the new Collective Labour Agreement (ACT), which enters into force in January, with the “majority of trade union structures”, reads in a note published by electric.
“EDP and most trade union structures have concluded the negotiation of the new ACT in Portugal, which will enter into force on January 1, 2027,” the company announced in a statement.
According to the same note, the agreement creates a new “simpler and more transparent” career model to facilitate progress and strengthen the link of merit to remuneration.
On the other hand, as he pointed out, he values special work schemes by increasing shift pay and supplementary work.
“For EDP, this agreement allows us to continue to value people and the evolution of their professional conditions, reconciling this goal with the challenges of competitiveness, sustainability and transformation that currently mark the energy sector and the business context,” he said.
This agreement reached in Portugal follows what was concluded last month in Spain.
Portugal and Spain represent about 60% of EDP's workforce.
