USA. 12 year old girl shot after discussion by parking place

Ua 12-year-old girl died after being shot by a stray bullet last Saturday after a misunderstanding between two men over a parking spot in Baltimore, United States.

According to the BBC, the girl was in a park where there was a football game between children when she was shot by a stray bullet.

The authorities' initial investigations show that the two suspects will have started arguing over a parking space in the park where the children were. 

“What we know is that there was some kind of discussion between two men. Both opened fire on each other,” explained Richard Worley, Baltimore Police Commissioner, at a press conference. 

“ In the crossfire, a 12-year-old girl, who was probably watching the game, was shot and died”, he added.

“Two men had an argument and now a girl is dead,” lamented the mayor of Baltimore, Brandon Scott, quoted by the BBC, and described the incident as “one of the most disgusting things” he has ever seen. 

The child was transported to the hospital, but eventually died. Three people have also been injured, but are out of danger.

The US authorities are looking for at least two suspects and so far no one has been arrested, continuing to investigate.
