O Super Bock Festival in Stock, which last happened in 2023, in several rooms of Avenida da Liberdade, in Lisbon, returns this year with a “special edition”, organized by a new promoter, was announced today.
“ After a break, the Super Bock in Stock prepares to return”, reads in a statement released today by the festival organization, which combines the brand of Super Bock beer and promoter Ritmos.
Contacted by Lusa, D.A. João Carvalho, from Ritmos, said the festival will take place in November this year, sending more information to a press conference that will take place next week in Lisbon.
On that occasion “the news of this special edition and the moments that will mark the return of the festival to the capital” will be announced in the statement released today.
The Super Bock Festival in Stock took place from 2008 to 2010, then renamed Vodafone Mexefest, between 2011 and 2017, resuming its initial name in 2018.
Until 2023, the year it last happened, the festival was organized by the promoter Music in the Heart.
The 2023 edition poster included more than 40 artists and bands, including Will Butler with Sister Squares, Gilsons, Anna Calvi, Sam Tompkins, The Legendary Tigerman and Jack, who performed in ten rooms in the Liberty Avenue area: Cinema São Jorge, Capitólio, Garagem da EPAL, Sociedade de Geografia de Lisboa, Coliseu dos Recreios, Casa do Alentejo, Estação Tramiento do Rossio and a bus that traveled the avenue.
