A forest fire broke out this afternoon on an agricultural estate in the area of Palma, in the municipality of Alcácer do Sal, Setúbal district, mobilizing 73 operatives and three planes, revealed Civil Protection.

Contactated by the agency Lusa, at 16:10, source of the Sub-Regional Emergency and Civil Protection Command of Alentejo Coastal explained that “the head of the fire is already dominated”, but the sinister “continues active”.
The warning for the fire, which he plows in Herdade do Espim near Palma, was given at 14:36 and the flames are consuming pines, cork oaks, grass and pasture, indicated the source.
The firefight at 16:10 involved 73 operatives, supported by three planes and 24 vehicles.
