O FC Porto B won today by 2-1 in the field of Leixões, which was reduced to 10 players since the 54th minute, by expulsion of Matheus Costa, in challenge of the seventh round of the II Football League.
In Matosinhos, the porters, already in numerical superiority, inaugurated the marker by Eduardo Ferreira, at 66 minutes, and still consented to equality by Bryan Rochéz, at 76, before Kauê Rodrigues decided the game, in charging a great penalty, at 90+4.
With this result, FC Porto B achieves its second victory in the championship and temporarily ascends to the 13th position, with seven points.
In turn, the Leixões saw a break in a series of four games without defeats, counting II League and Cup of Portugal, and is currently ninth ranked, with 10 points.
The formation of the house dominated the whole first part, with several clear goal opportunities, including a situation of isolation of Bica, which still created the illusion of goal with the ‘reload’ to hit the side mesh of the ‘blue and white’ goal.
In the second half, Matheus Costa had an unwilling entry on Mateus Mide, who applied a ‘tunnel’ to him, leaving the Leixões reduced to 10 players.
The meeting changed figure with the numerical imbalance and FC Porto B reached the advantage by Eduardo Ferreira, who only had to pull over, in response to an incomplete defense of the leixonian goalkeeper to Gabriel Veron's first shot, at 66.
Still, 10 minutes later, the ‘sea babies’ managed to reach the draw, after Arthur Baggio hit the bar violently, with the ball remaining for Bryan Róchez’s amendment.
Already in the fourth minute of compensation, Kauê Rodrigues successfully converted a penalti, by hand of Amadú Baldé, and closed the marker favorable to the ‘dragons’, before the departure ended with strong contest of the home supporters to the arbitration team.
