A Republican National Guard (GNR) seized, on October 6, about 93,500 doses of cannabis resin in the county of Sesimbra.
In a statement sent this Thursday, October 8, to News to Minutes, the military reveal that the finding was made following a complaint concerning the “possible existence of narcotics in a coastal area of the county”.
In view of this, the Guard military has developed police diligence to locate and confirm the information received and eventually locate the drug.
The package was found in the coastal zone near Foz Beach. After weighing the packaging and carrying out due diligence, the military realized that inside it were about 93,500 doses of cannabis resin.
The drug was then seized and referred to the Scientific Police Laboratory, and the facts were reported to the Sesimbra Judicial Court.
