A Judiciary police arrested a man who burned down his brother-in-law's car and threatened several family members in Esposende following a dispute of property sharing.

The facts were found in the context of family differences and the arrest took place in a spiral of violence.

His targets were two sisters and a brother-in-law who were targeted by several threats.

On August 5, he went further and using lighter and accelerant material, set fire to his brother-in-law's vehicle, which was parked on the public road.

The vehicle was consumed in its entirety by the flames and did not cause major damage due to the rapid intervention of the firefighters. However, it caused huge costs.

The 50-year-old suspect escaped to the uncertain part.

Authorities were able to gather solid evidence that led to the arrest of the suspect, which was, in the meantime, subjected to first judicial interrogation.

The measures for the coercion of biweekly presentations to the competent police authorities were applied to men, a ban on contact with certain family members and a ban on certain areas close to their residence.
