A building in Rio Tinto, in the municipality of Gondomar, was today evacuated following a fire on one of the floors, Lusa sources of firefighters and civil protection told.

Dand according to the commander of the Volunteer Firefighters of Areosa - Rio Tinto (BVART), Marco Martins, the building was evacuated, and second source of the Sub-Regional Emergency and Civil Protection Command of the Metropolitan Area of Porto (AMP), on site were 27 operational and 12 vehicles.
The issue is number 114 on the street of Cavada Nova, in Rio Tinto, in the municipality of Gondomar (district of Porto), a three-story building.
According to Marco Martins, it is not possible to know if there will be displaced, because firefighting operation was still underway, around 6:00.
The alert for the incident was issued at 4:58.
