Portuguese Jaime Faria entered the top 60 of the world tennis ranking for the first time today and placed himself at only nine national number one positions, which remains Nuno Borges, now at 51st place.

Com the presence in the second round in Tokyo, Faria again improved his career and rose a position, to the 60th, while Nuno Borges, eliminated by Serbian Novak Djokovic in the inaugural elimination in Beijing, went down two places.
After winning the challenger of Porto, Henrique Rocha is also in his best position ever, ascending 21 places to now occupy the 106th place of the ATP hierarchy.
Even without playing since he won the Wimbledon final in mid-July, Italian Jannik Sinner continues to lead the ranking, followed by German Alexander Zverev and Spanish Carlos Alcaraz, second and third respectively.
In pairs, Francisco Cabral remains in the 30th position, despite having won last week, alongside American JJ Tracy, the Hangzhou tournament in China.
Despite losing in the world premiere, Kazakh Elena Rybakina remains top of the female ranking, ahead of Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka and American Jessica Pegula.
Among the Portuguese women, Francisca Jorge remains the number one national, in the 214th position, followed by his sister Matilde Jorge, 250th.
