Cthe death of four-legged Zulu friend James Middleton, Kate Middleton's brother, turned to his Instagram page to publicly share the news.
“My dear Zulu died,” he said at the beginning of the publication he made on his Instagram page this Friday, October 9.
“I’ve written a lot about losing dogs. About grief, the emptiness, how hard it is to say goodbye. I shared my own experiences, tried to find the right words to comfort others and, in so doing, perhaps I tried to understand the situation a little better. But as often as this happens, however much it is written on the subject or as much as it is thought to have understood, nothing really prepares us for this cacophony of emotions ", reflected.
“ He would have turned 16 this month. A wonderful age, and I know I couldn't have asked for more. But that's what's funny about loving a dog. They're with us only for a few summers and Christmases, but somehow they become so deeply intertwined in our lives that it's impossible to imagine them without being there. They share our happiest moments, sit next to us in the darkest and ask for nothing more than our company. And when they leave, it's not just their absence that we regret, but the part of ourselves that left with them. Almost 16 years of memories and moments that belonged to both of us. A lifetime for him, but never enough for me”, he added.
“ I buried Zulu next to your mother, Ella. I like to think he's already found her, just like his brother Lupo, Tilly, Mini and the other animals who shared my life. That you're all together again and that he's busy telling his mother everything she's lost. All the adventures, all the changes in our lives and, more importantly, how wonderful is the little Inigo”, continued.
“ I'm gonna have to stop here... Sleep well, my dear Zulu. I will miss you a lot”, it can be read, finally, in the same publication, where James still gathers images in which we can see the late stepfather and still James' son, Íñigo, who is the result of the marriage to Alizée Thevenet.
