Leandro decided to present the oldest son, Simon, who will turn 14 in December and is the result of the relationship ended with Sury Cunha.
On his Instagram page, the singer published a video of the moment the boy received his father's gift, having been very surprised.
In showing the video, Leandro wrote a text about paternity, and was later praised by her current companion, Marina Pereira.
“In life, I have always tried to fight for my goals. I always swore to myself that on the day I was a father, I would do everything in my power to see my children happy.
Maybe it wasn't perfect. Maybe I've hit it a few times and wrong another time. I never considered myself a complete father, because I always looked for more, more and more. Each day I felt I had to be better, that I had to give more of myself, that I could do more for you.
Many nights I cried. Many nights smile. Many nights I embraced feelings I never showed, because I knew I could not pass on to you my sorrows, my pains or my difficulties.
Today I feel that I may have thought too much about some things and done less on others. But deep down, I believe I did what I thought was right.
It wouldn't change anything. Not because everything was perfect, but because every decision was part of the path that brought me here. And I believe that life is not just about planning. You live in the moment, in the choices you make and in what you feel is right when the time comes.
Perhaps one day I will be remembered not for the mistakes, the difficulties or the dark clouds that so often tried to hide what I really am.
Maybe someday everything will be clear in your world. And when that day comes, I hope you can look back and realize that even when I didn’t know how to do everything best, I never stopped loving you”, said the singer.
