Lusitania does not break in front of the Keys loaded with controversy

O Desportivo de Chaves put, at the end of the morning of this Sunday, a final point in the cycle of four consecutive victories of Lusitânia de Lourosa, by ‘rescue’ a tie to a ball of Carlos Osório Stadium, in Oliveira de Azeméis, which once again received a game of lions, on account of the works in his ‘home’.

Ricardo Silva's men still do not know what it is to lose, since the start of the new sports season of 2026/27... but they were close to learning it, the result of a (big) goal signed by André Rodrigues, on the edge of the whistle for the interval, using a half-distance shot that did not give Brian Araújo any chance of defense.

The visitors had a sovereign opportunity to expand the advantage, in one of the first throws after the return of the resorts, but Léo Alaba saw a cross hit right on the bar. From then on, the protagonist turned out to be the referee, David Silva, of the Porto Football Association.

The first play worthy of registration took place at the passage of the 72 minutes, when the hosts rehearsed vehement protests of great penalty, when Dylan Collard fell on the lawn, after a bid divided with João Valido, to whom he himself chose not to give any kind of follow-up.

The goal of equality would eventually come about five minutes after the 90s, in a move of insistence, by the feet of Mika Borges, who entered ‘with all rope’, after having been cast to the place of Saliou Mandiang, to seal, once and for all, the final result, in the clash of the seventh journey of the II League.

Lusitânia de Lourosa e Desportivo de Chaves sealed, in this way, the one that was the first draw of this round, after the victories achieved by AVS (on the Penafiel, 1-2), Tondela (on the Torreense, 1-0), Portimonense (on the Amarante, 1-2), FC Porto B (on the Leixões, 1-2), and Sporting B (on the Vizela, 0-2).

This Sunday, the Farense-Feirense and the Leiria-Academic Union will be played at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. (Hours of Continental Portugal), respectively. For Monday, at 18h00, Benfica B-Felgueiras is reserved, which will close the day of the second echelon of Portuguese football.

After the accounts, with this set of results, Lusitânia de Lourosa remains in the isolated leadership of the table, with 17 points won in 21 possible, two more than the second ranked, Sporting B. The Sports of Keys, for its part, occupies the 17th and penultimate place, with the same five points of Amarante.
