Rodrigo Mora was, therefore, one of the surprises promoted by Jorge Jesus on the list of 28 players summoned for the duels with Denmark and Wales, but it will not be the first time that he will be in the group of the main team, since he had already been called by Roberto Martínez, having been included in the group that won the League of Nations in 2025, despite not having accumulated any minute within the field.

More than a year later, the player who traded FC Porto for AS Roma last summer now has a new opportunity to show himself and already with another status. After all, Mora lives a moment of great brightness in the Roman assembly, having marked the last three journeys of Serie A. In the middle, he still watched one for one of the goals in the battle against Manchester United in the Champions League.

“Football is made up of moments. I'm going through a really good time. A month ago, things weren't going so well. But that's how football is. Sometimes you play, sometimes you don't. You must always be prepared. Everyone has to help the team win, and that’s the most important thing”, he acknowledged.

“ After every game, you know your teammates better. With each match, it becomes easier for me to understand things. Everything's going well. I'm happy to play on this team, alongside high-quality players. It is necessary to continue to work”, the Portuguese player of 19 years.

AS Rome sums and follows

Gasperini's team has been one of the great surprises of this season and is being seen on the podium of Serie A. At the moment it counts 27 points and is in second place, even if Inter can steal his post later this Sunday, if he wins in reception to Como.

In the lead is Lazio, with 29 points, but Gattuso's training even stumbled on this round, not going beyond a draw on the visit to Napoli.

Rodrigo Mora scored again for AS Roma. Third goal in four games

Young Portuguese player lives particularly happy in AS Roma, having been focused on the last four games. On Saturday night he scored another goal, this time in front of the Sassuolo.
