O portuguese coach José Mourinho returned today to wins with Real Madrid in the Spanish Football League, but suffered and much to beat the Villarreal (1-0), with Vinicius Junior expelled, on the eighth day.

In Santiago Bernabéu, after the disengagement with Atlético de Madrid (2-1) in the last round, the coast-marfinense Yan Diomande held the Royal – precisely in the usual place of Vinicius Júnior, who started the departure at the bank – and signed the only goal of the night, his first for the Merenges, at 62 minutes.

Already in the field, Vinicius Júnior still celebrated the 2-0, but the bid was cancelled by the video-arbiter (VAR) and the Brazilian advanced ended up even expelled with a direct red card, for having pulled the hair of a rival player during the bid.

Even with one less unit, and with Bernardo Silva attending the entire meeting at the bank, Real Madrid held the advantage until the end and remained six points away from FC Barcelona, leader, and one from Atlético Madrid, second ranked.

Mourinho’s team still temporarily rose to third place, but it can still be surpassed by Betis, if the Sevilians, next opponents of FC Porto in ‘Champions’, win on Sunday at the reception to Osasuna.

On the side of the Villarreal, Renato Veiga was a full-time holder, with the ‘yellow submarine’ remaining in the 10th place, with eight points.
