Chama Geely Monjaro EM-i is the new SUV of the segment D of the Chinese manufacturer. A premiere in Europe is scheduled for next Monday (October 12) at the Paris Motor Show in France.
This is a hybrid plug-in based on GEA-Evo manufacturer's own platform, with the new electrical/electronic architecture GEEA 3.0 incorporated. With the Super Hybrid EM-i system, it offers performance and low energy consumption, as well as a spacious and comfortable interior.
The idea of this model is to provide the advantages of electrical mobility, while providing the car with flexibility for longer journeys without concern for electric autonomy.
Geely Monjaro EM-i will join a growing range (in the coming years, the manufacturer wants to launch 18 models in Europe), which currently includes two 100 percent electric (Hatchback E2 and SUV E5) in addition to the Starry plugin hybrid EM-i that's an SUV.
According to Geely Europe’s executive director Aiden He, in a meeting with the press outside Geely’s presentation event in Portugal, the offer will take into account the type of cars that “the different markets need”.
About Monjaro EM-i, Geely Auto UK management director Michael Yang said in a statement that, with the European debut of the model, the manufacturer will use the Paris Hall “to demonstrate not only where it is today, but where it goes next: for a new era of intelligent, electrified and globally connected mobility.”.
