Immaculate Group Phase: “It was hard to win all four games. These are very powerful physical selections, strong on the stalled balls. We don't have a very high team, they have some more physically powerful players who play well in the air. We've been able to put into practice what the missus told us. We had difficulties in small details that we didn't train, we didn't have time to train well, to perfect what the master has taught, because we have little time to recover between games, but we managed to make four good games. We were constant in the four games.”
New Age with Jorge Jesus: “It’s the beginning of a new era with the master, we have much to evolve, I don’t think we’ve shown the top quality of the team yet, our potential, between the players who were here and those who didn’t come to this stage. We have many quality players in Portugal, plenty of room to evolve, we will evolve over time, with training and games.”
About Ronaldo..: “Any player who comes to the selection is welcome, we are happy for the results we have. If Cris comes back, we're here to welcome him with open arms, both Cris and other players who can enter the call. I focus on my job, which is playing ball, helping the selection to the maximum, being 100 percent in all games. I’m glad I played all the games and I’m fine physically.”
