O portuguese pilot Miguel Oliveira (BMW) walks from fifth place to the first of the two races of the weekend of the penultimate Superbikes World Cup race, which this weekend is contested in the Estoril circuit (Lisbon).
Portuguese, which had been the fastest room in the third free training session, played this morning, closed the superpole session at 0.665 seconds from Italian Nicolò Bulega (Ducati), already champion, who won the first ‘pole’ for the Italian brand on the Portuguese circuit.
The Spanish Iker Lecuona (Ducati) is in second position, finishing the qualification at 0.157 seconds from the teammate, with the British Alex Lowes (Bimota) third, at 0.546 from Bulega.
The Italian Alberto Surra (Ducati) was the fourth, only 0.038 seconds faster than Miguel Oliveira.
Portuguese was BMW's best representative, as his teammate Danilo Petrucci (BMW) did not go beyond position 14.
The first of the two races of the weekend is today at 3:00.
