Boss arrested for attempted rape and coercion: “Terror campaign”

U34-year-old man was arrested by the Judicial Police (PJ), through the North Directorate, by the presumed authorship of the crimes of sexual coercion, aggravated rape in attempted form and coercion, occurred since mid-May this year in the Baião area. The victim is a 29-year-old woman.

The information was revealed through a published by PJ, this monday, in which it is further stressing that “the investigation began following the complaint lodged by the victim and his spouse on the day following the facts, by attempted rape and coercion, committed by his boss on his wife”.

As part of the diligence, the note continues, “it was found that the suspect, residing in the same county, went to the residence of the victim in order to give him and install, at the request of the husband, an appliance”. Knowing that “she was alone, tried to subdue her through physical force, with the purpose of violating her”.

The PJ also notes that the “family of the suspect and the victim are foreign nationals, compatriots, emigrated in our country, the first having an ascendant on them, since they are employers of the victim’s husband”.

Following the intervention of this security force, “with the constitution of the suspect as defendant, he and his wife started a campaign of terror and coercion on the victim, her husband and witnesses, trying to forge evidence and intimidate witnesses, disturbing the course of the investigation and the production of evidence“.

“Contested and proven” this situation, were “requested arrest warrants to the Public Prosecutor’s Office for the possible worsening of the coercion measures applied,” PJ points out in the same statement. 

The arrestee was present at the first judicial interrogation and was subject to the coercion measures of “periodic presentations” and “prohibition of contacts with electronic control”.
