Sit is possible to receive unemployment allowance or initial unemployment allowance at once, in advance, in whole or in part, to create their own employment?
“This applies when the person receiving presents a job project such as opening a business, a shop, workshop or company, which is deemed feasible by the Employment Service of the Institute for Employment and Vocational Training, I.P. (IEFP)”, explains the Social Security practical guide on the subject.
Why, the “single amount is the total amount of benefits that would be paid each month until the end of the allowance, discounting what has already been received.
However, “if the payment is partial, the remaining amount of the allowance shall continue to be paid each month, unless you start working on behalf of another person or as manager, cases which temporarily interrupt payment of benefits”.
In practice, this measure is intended for “persons who receive unemployment benefit or initial unemployment benefit who present a project to create their own employment that is considered feasible”.

In the event that the eligible costs of the project to create the job itself amount to only 4 000.00€, the partial single amount of 4 000.00€ will be paid, and Social Security will continue to pay the allowance of 500.00€ per month until the remaining 2 000.00€ will be exhausted. That is, after payment of the single amount of €4,000, they are still paid another 4 months of allowance in accumulation with the exercise of independent activity.”.
