Four injured (one serious) in collision between motorcycle and car in Monção

Quatro people were injured, one of them with gravity, following a collision between a motorcycle and a light vehicle, this Sunday, on National Road 202 (EN202), in Troviscoso, in the municipality of Monção.

A 43-year-old man suffered serious injuries, while an 81-year-old and two 77- and 55-year-old women were considered to be mildly injured, according to the source of the Monção Volunteer Fire Department.

All victims were transported to the Local Health Unit of Alto Minho (ULSAM) after the accident, whose warning was given at 12:59 p.m.

There were nine operations of the Monção Volunteer Fire Department, with two ambulances and a Help and Tactical Assistance Vehicle.

Also the Volunteer Firefighters of Valença rushed to the site, this time with two operatives and an ambulance, as well as the Republican National Guard (GNR), with five operatives and two vehicles.

Also mobilized was an Ambulance of Immediate Life Support (SIV) of Valença and the Emergency and Resuscitation Medical Vehicle (VMER) of Viana do Castelo, each with two operations.
