A coalition led by Saudi Arabia announced today is conducting a “large-scale operation” against the Huthis, having a media affiliate with these pro-Iran fighters reported attacks in northwest Yemen.

“ We are conducting large-scale operations aimed at Huthis’ staff and capabilities, the coalition spokesperson Turki al-Maliki announced on social network X.

The same source specified that “136 military targets” houthis had been destroyed.

The coalition “is committed to dismantle and destroy the Huthis ballistic missile network” and “provides 24-hour air support to Yemen’s armed forces,” he added.

The Al-Massirah channel, affiliated with the Huthis, reported “Saudi missile attacks” in Saada Province, northwest Yemen.

The hostilities between pro-Iranian fighters and Saudi Arabia, which supports the Yemeni government, intensified in September, after the takeover of the Huthis on the Red Sea coast, following a lightning offensive.

In total, this week, six people were killed in attacks claimed by Huthis against Saudi airports.

In parallel with the attacks in Saudi Arabia, the fighting continues in Yemen, with more than 400 dead since the launch on Monday of the operation “Munage of Yemen” by government forces, with the support of Riyadh fighter planes.

A military source of the government camp has indicated that a “large-scale operation” has been underway since Friday to recover Bab el-Mandeb’s strategic Strait, which links Asia to Europe through the Suez Canal, from the hands of pro-Iran fighters.
