The President of the Republic, António José Seguro, will open to the public the gardens of the National Palace of Belém and the Museum of the Presidency, on Monday, to mark the 116th anniversary of the implementation of the Republic in Portugal.

Dand according to a note published on the site of the Presidency of the Republic, the museum will be open to the public between 10am and 1pm and between 2pm and 6pm, while the palace gardens can be visited between 3pm and 6pm.
“ The entrance is free and the access is made by the museum store, in Praça Afonso de Albuquerque, being the last entry by 5:30 p.m. ", is added in the same note.
On Monday, at 10:30 a.m., the President of the Republic, António José Seguro, will speak for the first time, at the anniversary ceremony of the implementation of the Republic, in Praça do Município, in Lisbon, an intervention that will be preceded by the mayor, Carlos Coins.
Before the speeches of António José Seguro and Carlos Coins, the Portuguese flag will be raised on the balcony of the Salão Nobre dos Paços do Conselho, to the sound of the national anthem.
As usual, the President of the Assembly of the Republic, José Pedro Aguiar-Branco, and the Prime Minister, Luís Montenegro, as well as representatives of the various parties will be present at the formal session in Largo do Município.
As will happen in the Palace of Bethlehem, Parliament will also be open to citizens on Monday afternoon.
The President of the Assembly of the Republic, José Pedro Aguiar-Branco, will symbolically open the door to the main atrium of Parliament at 2:30 p.m. to mark another anniversary of the implementation of the Republic in Portugal.
A symbolic act that José Pedro Aguiar-White also does on the occasion of the holidays of 25 April and whose main objective is to bring together the organ of sovereignty Parliament of citizens in general.
