A AS Rome was no more than a null, this Sunday, on the visit to the stronghold of Como (0-0), in play of the 6th journey of Serie A. Rodrigo Mora did not leave the bench of alternates, for the second consecutive game, on a morning marked by the expulsion of Donyell Malen, shortly after the start of the second part.

The match was always very balanced, with the two teams battling mainly at midfield. After the first 45 minutes, only one shot had been recorded framed for each side.

After the break, AS Rome seemed to start to get on top, but it all went down at 53 minutes, when Malen lost his head and saw a red card.

The international for the Netherlands reacted badly to a loss of ball, the moment he tried to reach the goal of the Como and entered, with everything, on Kaiki, leading the referee to expel him promptly.

The expulsion left AS Rome reduced to 10 units even before the game time, but Como also revealed difficulties in getting the numerical advantage to advance on the scorer.

The minutes went by, the visitors were adjusting and resisting the pressure of Como, but the draw, without goals, impelled until the final whistle and without... Rodrigo Mora, who was once again an unused substitute.

With this result, AS Rome accumulates the second consecutive draw, now adding 14 points, and is even second place at risk, having to wait for the outcome of the matches of Lazio and Cagliari, before Monza and Cagliari, respectively, which will take place later this Sunday.

In turn, Como, who had lost with Frosinone in the previous round, returns to points – to 11 – and surpasses Juventus, to the condition, and becomes the sixth ranked.

In the next round, AS Roma welcomes Genoa at home, while Como will visit Fiorentina.

Rodrigo lives losing space?

After not being used in the fight with Inter, which ended in a tie, before the break for the appointments of the selections, Rodrigo Mora repeated the status of unused alternate in Como.

Gian Piero Gasperini made four substitutions in five possible, having even moved to the interval, when he promoted the entrance of Matias Soule to the place of Lorenzo Pellegrini. In the second part, the AS Roma coach went back to the team on two occasions, just after Malen was expelled.

At 60 minutes, and in order to balance the team, which was reduced to 10 players, Leonardo Balerdi was Gasperini's bet, who gave up Mario Hermoso.

At 89 minutes, there was a double replacement in Rome, this time with the young Emanuele Lolli and Niccolo Pisilli entering the places of Paulo Dybala and Manu Kone.

Rodrigo Mora was thus left out of the choices to enter the course of the match, in a clear bet of Gasperini to hold the draw away from home.

The young Portuguese international, which was highlighted by the selection of sub-21, which secured a place in the next European category, continues without imposing itself in Rome, despite the high investment made in summer. Mora has a goal in five games with the Italian team sweater.
