Osporting members today approved by majority the management report and club accounts for the financial year 2025/26, which showed a profit of EUR 1,505 million (ME), with 86.32% of the votes in favour.

“ This percentage is worth it and means (...) a very large adherence to this document and to what was the financial exercise of the club of 2025 and 2026”, the president of the Bureau of the General Assembly (MAG), Pedro Almeida Cabral, told journalists when announcing the results of the vote.

In total, 568 members participated, corresponding to 3,722 votes, of which 3,213 (86.32%) were in favour of approving the accounts and 432 (11.61%) against. There were 53 white votes (1.42%) and 24 null (0.64%).

Pedro Almeida Cabral pointed out that the Magna meeting “went in a very organized, very structured way”, with “very relevant interventions from various partners”.

The members also voted for the appeal filed by an associate against the suspension of a partner for 20 months applied by the Fiscal and Discipline Council, following an episode of attempted assault on a police officer, in a game of the ‘green and white’ team in the field of the Amadora Star, on March 29, 2025.

The appeal was rejected, with 2,251 votes (60.48%) against the repeal of the sanction and 1,221 (32.80%) in favour. A total of 213 white votes (5.72%) and 37 null votes (0.99%) were recorded, so punishment is maintained.

The president of MAG stressed that the partners exercised their right to vote, “orderly, peaceful, free and democratic”.

“ Sporting partners have shown that they like to participate in their club’s life and have been able to promote a completely orderly and, above all, civic discussion,” he added.
