A Xiaomi confirmed at the end of September that he plans to launch his new generation of mobile phones outside China – the xiaomi 18 Pro series. While we are still waiting for information on a possible release date, some details of the international versions of these devices have now begun to circulate.
As shared in social network X, information obtained through the Geekbench performance analysis platform reveals some of the specifications of one of the new models – the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max.
Trusting this information, this top-of-the-line will feature a Snapdragon 8 processor Elite Extreme Gen 6 and 12GB RAM memory. It should be remembered that in China this Xiaomi 18 Pro Max is also available with a 16GB RAM configuration, so we will have to wait a little longer to know if this version will also be available on international markets.
Another information officially confirmed by this publication is that Xiaomi 18 Pro Max has pre-installed the Android 17 version of Google's operating system, with Xiaomi's own HyperOS 4 giving users an exclusive experience of this brand's mobile phones.
In addition to confirming that the series Xiaomi 18 Pro would arrive in the West later this year, the Chinese company has not officially revealed when it is planning this launch. We will then have to wait for the official announcement to learn more details about these models.
However, the version being sold on the Chinese market allows us to have a fairly approximate idea of the specifications that we can find in the overall version.
In China, Xiaomi 18 Pro Max is equipped with a screen AMOLED 6.9 inches LPTO with 1.208 x 2.624 resolution and 120Hz update rate and a maximum lighting of 4,000 nits. On the back is also present a screen AMOLED LPTO 2.9 inches with 596 x 976 resolution and 120Hz update rate and the same 4,000 nits of maximum lighting.
Furthermore, this Chinese version of Xiaomi's latest top-of-the-line is available with 256GB, 512GB and 1TB storage options, a 200MP main sensor camera, a 200MP telephoto lens, an ultra wide-angle 50MP and a front camera with a single 50MP sensor.
