Tsaudi citizens died, including a Saudi airline pilot, and several others were injured in two attacks on Thursday against King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.
The first attack targeted the airport facilities, while the second struck an aircraft, detailed in a statement to the Saudi Arabian Civil Aviation Authority.
Those responsible are not appointed, although the Huthis forces supported by Iran in Yemen claimed to have committed the attack against the Saudi Arabian capital airport.
According to the Civil Aviation Authority, “several citizens and residents of different nationalities” were injured.
The airline Saudia indicated that a company pilot died in the attacks against Riyadh airport, France-Presse reported.
However, airport operational activities were normalized.
This was the most deadly attack in the country since Saudi Arabia and allied forces in neighbouring Yemen launched a major military offensive last weekend against the Houthis forms that control part of the country, including the capital Sana.
The Saudi airport has been the subject of several attacks: a Sudanese citizen died at the same location earlier this week due to an attack.
