A Vauxhall has a new visual identity, with the modernised and simplified logo. Revealed in the last few days, it will make its debut in a production model next year.
For more than four decades the models of the British brand have been essentially the Opels with another identity. Moreover, it is part of Opel Automobile, which in turn has the Opel and Vauxhall brands – the latter dedicated to the United Kingdom, from which it originates.
The new Vauxhall logo keeps the iconic griffin and indelibly connected to his image, but it appears in a new interpretation where you stop holding the flag with the “V” for the first time in a story over 100 years old.
According to Mark Adams, Vauxhall’s design vice president, with the griffin lit on the front grills of the cars, the updated emblem “makes it clearer and easier to identify”. In addition, it is a logo that, in his opinion, “fits perfectly with the next evolution of the Bold and Pure design language”.
The first public appearance of the new emblem will be at the Paris Motor Show (France) from 12 to 18 October in the new STX Concept – which advocates the future design of the vans and the future of Opel/Vauxhall. The debut in a production model is scheduled for 2027.
