Carlos Bolsonaro, son of Jair Bolsonaro and brother of Flávio, said he was thrilled when he visited his father this Wednesday, where they talked about his brother's electoral defeat.

In a video shared on Instagram, the senator elected by Santa Catarina said he went to visit his father, who is in house arrest.

“ I spent two hours there with him chatting. It was important to me and to him too”, he started by saying.

Carlos Bolsonaro also said that father Jair “is trying to assimilate everything that is still happening”. “He is strong, he knows that life continues,” he noted.

“ Impressive how strong he is. At some point, I was moved in front of him. And I said, ‘I'm sorry, Dad. We failed," he said.

“And he: ‘ Negative, lift up your head. Let's go. A lot to do for Brazil still’”.

Carlos Bolsonaro also said his father made him coffee. “Traditionally, he takes that little wire rod with coffee, a bag, put the coffee there” and the two talked about “Brazil, mainly about football that he likes very much”, realizing that Jair still played with the Palmeiras and Santos playing tonight and that Neymar would not play.

“ He got refreshed, so did I. It's not over yet. We will continue to do our work, continue to fight for the freedom of political prisoners. My father is a political prisoner, he is only at home now because he has almost a dozen comorbidities because if not he would now be in papudinha, even when he is 71 years old”, he continued.

It should be remembered that Jair Bolsonaro is under house arrest. The former president of Brazil was sentenced to 27 years due to the conviction by the Supreme Court of attempted coup d'état in 2022.

Bolsonaro has been serving house arrest since March 27 after being hospitalized in a hospital in Brasilia for treatment of bacterial bronchopneumonia.

Flavio Bolsonaro lost elections... and fled

It should also be noted that Flávio Bolsonaro, Jair's son, was a candidate for Brazilian presidential, losing to Lula da Silva, 81 years old.

Just over 24 hours after knowing that he had lost and had said that he was going to ask to cancel the results, Flavio Bolsonaro ‘disappeared’ from the map.

The Liberal Party candidate crossed the borders of his country and fled to the United States where he intends to seek political asylum.

Bolsonaro is being investigated for corruption, money laundering and tax evasion and before the escape, remember, he received an order from the Brazilian Supreme Court (STF) to deliver all his passports, including a diplomatic passport and one from Italian citizen.

Almost elected to the escape. Where's Flavio Bolsonaro? What happened here

Flavio Bolsonaro was forbidden to leave the country after losing the elections. However, just over 24 hours later he crossed the border and headed for the United States, where he should be welcomed with open arms.
