“ O Iran is still fully aligned with the fate (edit or guidance) of the supreme leader and we have not changed our nuclear doctrine, but we do not know what will happen in the future. It depends on Washington’s behavior,” Mohsen Rezaei said in statements to television Al Jazeera.

As for the conflict, initiated by attacks from the United States and Israel to which Iran responded, making the conflict wider, Rezaei said that the conditions for stopping the war through the mediating countries, Qatar and Pakistan were transmitted to the US President's Administration, Donald Trump, awaiting an answer in this regard.

In any case, he stressed, “we know the weaknesses of US military forces and we are more prepared than ever to counteract their air strikes.”.

“Iran changed its strategy towards the United States after they left the Memorandum of Understanding: if they attack us, we attack US bases and interests in the region,” he said.

He also expressed Iran’s wish that “the war between Saudi Arabia and Yemen should end,” referring to the Huthis rebels allied with Iran who face the forces of the Yemeni Government, recognized by the international community and supported by Riyadh.

“ I believe the Yemeni also want a deal with Saudi Arabia,” he added.

In the interview, Rezai revealed that Iran recently tested an anti-antivioal missile near an American carrier.
