ANDis closed the third elimination of the Cup of Portugal. Arouca won, at the end of Sunday night, the Belenians in a crazy game, by four balls to three, to move forward in the competition. The game had to be resolved in the extension, after a tie at the end of regulatory time.
At the National Stadium, in Jamor, Belenenses and Arouca played on stage that usually receives the final of the Portuguese football queen competition, but for the duel of the third round of the competition.
Vítor Severino, who fulfilled his second game in service of the emblem of Serra da Freita, did not facilitate and entered the field with an initial team very close to the 11 base of the Beirões. On the other side was a history of Portuguese football that leads the southern zone of Liga 3 and which totaled seven wins and a draw in all competitions at this season start.
It didn't take much time to see the first goal on the date. The outlaws put themselves in front of the marker over minute 21. Trezza tore off from the right and crossed late for Ivan Barbero's straight shot, with the ball passing under Belenese's goalkeeper's legs before entering.
The Blues of the Restelo reacted already in the second half and with one reassembled in the marker. Cesinha made the tie goal with a subtle deviation practically after the resumption (49 minutes) On the top of the 76th minute, Bruninho signed the twist in the encounter with a large shot from outside the area.
But Arouca was not willing to take the team label of the I Liga that falls in the 3rd round of the Cup of Portugal, after six have already received this ‘gift’. In a cardiacally unfit final line at Jamor, Brian Mansilla made the turn with an encore in three minutes, with the first to appear at 87 minutes, after a push-on move.
The game seemed doomed to an inevitable extension, but already in time of discounts, the same Mansilla scored a spectacular acrobatic kick following a corner (90+1′). It was signed, but the Cup party wasn't over yet.
The Belenenses did not lower their arms and, at the limit of compensation, to 90+4′, David Monteiro surprised everything and everyone with a kick from the middle of the street that only stopped in the networks of Arrubarrena. The extension that many had anticipated before ended up.
In the extra time, the best face of Arouca came to the top and the visiting team sealed the final victory. After a release by Tiago Esgaio, Fally Mayulu combined with Nandín and dressed the hero's cover by marking the triumph of the Aroukians with class. The Belenians fought to the end against elimination, but did not avoid farewell to the queen proof.
