Quse all modern mobile phones are equipped with an energy saving mode that (as the name indicates) allows you to reduce battery consumption and extend the autonomy of your mobile phone.
This mode was created so that mobile phone users can, in a situation where they are about to run out of battery, use the device for a little longer until they can get an opportunity to recharge the phone.
There are, however, more anxious people who – for fear of running out of battery in the middle of the day – may want to have this mode always activated, without realizing that they may have to deal with some disadvantages in the way they use their phones.
O slashGear website made a list with the four main disadvantages of having the energy saving mode always activated, which can go from slower performance than was supposed to to missing notifications.
You may know this list below with the main disadvantages
The four disadvantages of using energy saving mode:
- Mobile phone performance will be worse, with apps opening animations and the screen update rate being the main impairments;
- Apps that are working in the background are closed, which means you may lose some potentially important notifications;
- Certain features – such as the Always On screen – are disabled and Internet speed via mobile data is also slower;
- Energy saving may not be as significant as you think;
