O israeli army killed two Palestinians and wounded four earlier this morning in two air raids in the south of the Gaza Strip, announced medical sources of the Palestinian enclave.
According to the sources of the Al-Nasser hospital, an Israeli air strike against a group of people in Khan Yunis in southern Gaza caused the death of a 46-year-old man and two wounded.
A second Israeli bombing against a tent of displaced persons in the Al-Mawasi coastal area near Khan Yunis killed a 19-year-old Palestinian.
The attack also injured a woman and a child, according to the medical sources of Al-Nasser cited by the Spanish news agency EFE.
A police officer also died today after being wounded on Sunday in an Israeli attack against a group of agents in Al-Mawasi, the Ministry of Interior and National Security of the Gaza Strip said.
Medical sources and Civil Defense rescue teams said the Israeli army killed eight people on Sunday, including a 3-year-old child and five police officers.
Despite the truce a year ago, Israel launched daily attacks on Gaza against alleged Hamas members, the radical group that had ruled the territory since 2004, but often killed civilians.
Sometimes the attacks target Palestinians near the so-called yellow line, from which Israeli troops are positioned in the Gaza Strip.
Established with the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas in October 2025, the line divides Gaza into a western zone, where most of the population is confined, and in an eastern area under Israeli military control.
During the ceasefire, almost 1,600 Palestinians died in Israeli attacks and shootings in the enclave, according to the Hamas-controlled Ministry of Health of Gaza.
At least 1.8 million people remain displaced, most in tents near the Mediterranean Sea, where they will face the fourth winter in this situation.
Israel launched a military offensive in Gaza after suffering a terrorist attack led by Hamas on October 7, 2023, which caused 1,200 deaths and 250 hostages.
The Israeli offensive killed more than 74,500 people in Gaza, of which 20,000 were minor, according to the health data of the Palestinian enclave.
Due to the war in Gaza, Israel faces genocide charges and the International Criminal Court issued a arrest warrant against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in November 2024 for war crimes and crimes against humanity.
