O Israeli army killed at least four people today in new attacks against the Gaza Strip, including two children, according to the director of the department who recorded the deaths and spokesperson of the Gaza Ministry of Health.
“ The attacks on civilians, particularly children, have not ceased since the ceasefire of 2025 until today. More than 340 children and 150 women died and this morning two children,” Zaher al Waheidi told the EFE agency.
Misk Hazem al-Dalu, seven years old, died from the shooting of Israeli forces against the tents of Palestinians displaced in the Maghazi camp in the centre of the Gaza Strip, according to the same medical source and the Palestinian agency Wafa.
Hours later, 12-year-old Tamer died following Israeli shots in Beit Lahia (north), confirmed al-Waheidi and Al-Shifa Hospital, which received the body.
In addition to the two children, a 28-year-old woman, identified as Wajdan Kamal Sharab, was also shot to death in the Khan Yunis area (south), and a fourth Palestinian died in a drone attack on a street in the city of Gaza (north), according to the same medical sources.
Since the beginning of the Israeli offensive after Hamas’ attacks more than three years ago, the number of deaths has exceeded 74,475, while the number of Palestinians injured – many with amputations and permanent injuries – has now exceeded 175,500, according to data released by the local Ministry of Health on Saturday.
Israel destroyed or damaged more than 80% of buildings in the Gaza Strip and reduced entire cities and neighborhoods to ruins, having been qualified on multiple occasions as genocide by international non-governmental organizations, various Israeli entities – such as B’Tselem – and by an independent UN commission.
